Destry would never ask for herself, so we’re asking for her.

As most of you know Destry’s son Forrest was riding his bicycle when he was struck and killed by a drunk driver on White Marsh Island in Savannah, GA on March 21st 2024.

Destry is unable to work at this time and may not be able to for some weeks.

She’s learning to navigate the unimaginable emotions attached with this devastating turn of events, figure out how to get the family to Savannah for the memorial and pay her living expenses in the coming weeks. No one can plan for something like this and not everyone is prepared for an emergency, much less the worst thing a parent could experience.

We deeply appreciate everyone that has sent their condolences and offers of help. If any of you feel led to contribute to help cover the costs of travel expenses and day to day expenses while the family deals with this unexpected loss, it would be greatly appreciated.
