The Family of Everett Collins

Hello,

My name is Lisa Foltz, My dear friend Kelly Collins has suffered one of the greatest loss a wife can. Her husband of 27 years (I believe) lost his long battle with Heart Disease on Thursday October 26, 2023 at 12:55 PM.

About 9 weeks ago Everett started having sever back aches, 6 hospital visits, 3 hospital stays and still no known answers for the underlying issues. He was transitioned to Hospice only for a very short time prior to his death. Some only knew of Everett, He was a very private man. But he was a huge support for Kelly for many years of all her involvement with school and community events for many many years. He loved his wife, children and grandchildren very much. His life was centered around them all. This time is very tough on all of them. With Everett being sick for many years, he suffered many heart attacks, surgeries for bypasses, stents etc. Everett was unable to obtain affordable life insurance. So today I am reaching out to all of our community, family, friends and neighbors for support for a family who has supported them for many years. Kelly has walked miles at football games collecting 50/50. We have both taken field trips with the school for to many things to mention. Kelly has taken many photographs for sporting events, gatherings etc. on her own time and sometimes even expenses. I could go on and on about this family. I am heartbroken not only for my great friend but also my self. it was and is a honor to not just to call them all my friend but they are Family. And the last thing I wish to see happen is her to have stress over funeral/memorial funds.

I have been notified that the arrangements Kelly has set up should come in around $2,122.80 if we should raise more than this, the money will go to the family to help with any other final expenses they may occur during this very stressful and emotional time.
