The family of Brenda Weiss needs your help.

Hello friends and family. I am organizing a GoFundMe event on behalf of the family of Brenda Weiss. Brenda’s daughter, Erica, is my son, Patrick Meagher’s fiancé. My hope is that you will share this on your own Facebook pages and offer support in any way that you can.

About 6 weeks ago Brenda had some coughing, fatigue, and some leg pain. She has been in and out of the hospital since then. Sadly, in the course of the last 2 weeks she was diagnosed with terminal liver cancer, as well as blood clots in her brain, lungs, and heart. She has fought valiantly but things have kept progressing to the point that the family is moving her into hospice today.

Brenda is only 62 and has spent her lifetime taking care of others. Up until last Tuesday when she had a life altering stroke, she was a live-in caregiver. While Brenda has health insurance, she has no savings or life insurance. Her children are young adults, only 26, 30, and 32 who are just starting their own lives. The speed of this illness has rocked her family to the core. Her kids are overwhelmed with trying to figure out what bills Brenda has and what needs to be paid, not to mention figuring out how to pay for funeral services.

I am asking you to help in any way possible, whether it be sending up prayers, sharing this GoFundMe page, or maybe donating a few dollars. All is welcome and needed by this family. Everything will be appreciated.
