On June 7th, 2022, my best friend Alex unexpectedly passed away due to heart complications. Alex had a big heart, both literally and figuratively. Alex was a guy who loved life and his family. He enjoyed cars, trucks, and country living. During our conversations over the years, I learned that Alex seemed most proud that he was self-employed, but also that he wasn't doing it alone. He had a great partner in his wife, Sabrina, and he was proud that they were doing it together.
Alex was preceded in death by his father Melvin, his mother Janice, and his older brothers Jude and John. He is survived by his wife Sabrina, his children Kameo (15), Taylor (14), Brayden (12), and Addison (11), as well as his sister Katherine and his younger brother Nick.
How special Alex was cannot be easily summed up here. Alex enjoyed his life so much that he couldn't imagine not being here with us today. He leaves behind a legacy of love for his family. Over the years, Alex and I would talk about all the would've's and should've's of life. We talked about the things we both wanted to do and needed to do, and how we didn't know where the time to do them was going to come from. He would tell me on occasion how he had to cancel this service or hold off on something else that he needed to purchase. One such area was life insurance. Unfortunately, this never got restarted, leaving Sabrina with all the normal family expenses of a mortgage, vehicles, teenagers and everyday life as an unplanned single mother. Sabrina woke up secure one morning with her world crashed the next day. That's why this GoFundMe is being started.
Upon getting the news, I want everyone to know that there are many irons going in the fire of my life. We all have problems and tasks before us. With one phone call, everything I am dealing with suddenly seems insignificant. I'm asking you to spend some time in prayer and thought, asking God, your spouse, and yourself, what can I give to help this family.
May God Bless You For Helping
Chris
