The Family and Memorial of Stewart Wickman

Stewart Russell Wickman wasn't just a regular dude, he was one of the best guys. He was the Best most loving and encouraging Dad to his three children, 14 year old Devynn, 9 year old Merryn and 1 month old Ronan. As many of you who knew Stewart; also know how much his children meant to him. How much his wife and best friend Katie, meant to him, also how much his Brother, Sisters, Nieces and Nephews meant to him. Stewart was a family man and now his family is lost without him.

On Thursday afternoon on 9/29 Stewart was found unresponsive in his home found by his wife Katie. She immediately called 911 and EMS were able to resuscitate him and get him to a local hospital. Everything was done to try and save his life. He spent only 24 hours in the neuro icu with so many questions left unanswered. How does a 40 year old healthy man just talk and act normal one morning and end up on life support by the evenjng ?!

It appears he suffered a brain injury of some sort. But there are still so many unanswered questions and so much pain for this family. He passed away peacefully with everyone by his side. He was the provider and protector of his family of 5. Stewart's death was extremely unexpected.

We want to ensure he gets the memorial service he deserves. His body will be cremated and a memorial will be held at a later date with information to follow.

While Stewart was employed and Katie is as well, this is going to be a huge change for this family. Not to mention Katie has just given birth to their third baby, Ronan, in August, is still on maternity leave herself and income is naturally limited at this time. We are asking for help in any way, even if it is just sharing at this point. Any money donated will go to helping this family and with the memorial and cremation of Stewart.
