Hello I am Lisa Paterson and I live in Ruskin. On Monday, Jan 9th in the early hours of the morning a kind and gentle soul was taken from his family and many friends in Ruskin in a senseless car accident on 19th street.

Adam was known to many in Ruskin and Apollo Beach as the guy with the dog on the bike who hung out at Circle K. Adam regularly slept at Circle K, doing odd jobs for whoever and was always kind, friendly and loving to his faithful companion known as 'Little Dog' and 'Baby Girl'. Adam may have skipped meals but he made sure his companion ate.

Adam had challenges most of us cannot imagine but he was always upbeat and kind speaking to the folks that cared to take an interest. Many knew Adam and helped him with clothing, food, money and small jobs. He often asked if he could help others with the gifts he received and was always thinking of helping someone else. If you got to know him a bit he would always speak kindly of his mother Deb who adopted his daughter Angelina. He was so thankful for his mother's help and loved his family. Recently Adam had obtained a place to live and was working on getting things in his life straight including pressure washing for people with a pressure washer he was given.

Adam always told me he tried to give his Mom money to help with his daughter. After speaking with his Mom there is not a lot of money to help give this kind man a resting place and to take care of his daughter. They will be keeping Little Dog so that Angelina has her to remember him by. Please pray for and if you can give a few dollars to help his family through this difficult time they would be grateful. I know Adam would give us all a fist bump and a smile for helping. I hope he has some peace now.
