Susan Faridi . . . those of you who know her understand her kindness, sweet spoken words and her large heart for others to know the Lord and live each day according to him and his ways.
Recently, Susan and her husband Amin took a three hour drive to get some much need R&R in probably one of the many locations that they enjoy seeing God's creation . . . good ole nature. On Wednesday the 14th they together where hiking a "moderate" trail, when what Amin described as, "our two day mountain vacation turned to hell in seconds". Susan fell, and it was much more complicated than that, she fell on loose gravel that caused her ankle to remain planted and her upper body to pivot as she tried her hardest to "catch herself". Her leg was broken in two places, and in order to get out of and off the mountain she required a mountain rescue [photo paints the scene]. An emergency rescue, an emergency two night overstay [surgery, plate and screws put in on Thursday], and now an EMERGENCY FUND.
Susan and Amin do not have medical coverage; Susan working for a non-profit and Amin working and building the ministry neither have coverage. We can stop there . . . Because we do SERVE a BIG GOD, and he does have THEM. Our BIG GOD needs us all to do our part . . . he has provided for each of us . . . and now it is our turn to SHOW HIM off in true COMMUNITY. Susan and Amin are not asking for help, but many of us . . . their friends and/or family are at a distance from them . . . and we may all have the same question . . . "what can we do from here?" Praise the LORD for sites like GOFUNDME, we are excited to be able to do for them because of HIM!
This GOFUNDME's goal would be to cover all the medical costs that they are will endure from this heart wrenching situation. Another goal is to spread the knowing about the situation . . . that there will be many of us going to battle with prayer for Susan's TOTAL healing.
On behalf of many of their friends and family . . . we sure do thank you for your giving, and Susan and Amin are thankful for you!
