The Extras Proclaim To Run 500 Miles....

The mighty Ampthill Extras are embarking on a non-stop 500 mile team relay running challenge around the streets of Ampthill & Flitwick (as well as Houston, Atlanta, Melbourne, Brisbane, Dubai and London) to raise much needed funds to help towards the increased costs our 1st Team are having to incur to take their place and compete in the 2021 Championship season.
We will be starting out at the Engine and Tender on Thursday 18th February at 5am, running non stop through the night (s), expecting to complete the challenge sometime late in the afternoon on Sunday 21st February, 83 or so hours of running in total!!
This is going to be a real team effort with 70 + Extras past and present, young and old, from far and wide all joining in and doing there bit to achieve the team goal.
Please donate what you can, and if you see a sweaty mess in their Extras kit plodding down Dunstable Street at some point over the course of the 3.5 days please give them a honk or a shout of encouragement .............. La, La, La, La, La
