Two women. One Ultra-Challenge. Zero halves.
On 20th june 2026, Lianne and Tina are taking on the North Yorkshire Ultra Challenge—a grueling 100k trek. But because we never do things by halves, they aren’t stopping at the finish line. Once we cross that 100k mark, they are continuing back toward home and trekking an additional 37km (23 miles) to finish right where it all began: The Bridlington CYP.
Why are we pushing ourselves to the absolute limit? Quite simply, because the CYP was there for us when we needed it most. Without their support, Soul (Tina’s daughter) and our dream of launching a Netball Club for local young people would never have become a reality.
The Goal As a non-profit club, we thrive on community spirit and local support. We want to ensure our young players have the best opportunities possible. The funds raised from this "extra mile" challenge will go directly toward:
New equipment for our Netball Club.
Supporting the CYP, as a token of our massive appreciation for everything they do for us and the wider netball community.
The CYP and this club are more than just sports—they are a lifeline for young people in Bridlington. We are putting our bodies through the ringer to make sure that lifeline stays strong.
How you can help: Whether it’s the price of a coffee or a larger sponsorship, every penny will keep our legs moving and our young people playing. Please donate, share our story, and cheer us on as we make our way back to the CYP!
