The Estep family with ongoing expenses

The wrestling community in Pennsylvania is both surprisingly expansive and fiercely tight-knit. When one member of the community struggles, it has always been my experience that we come together to help them in their fight. I hope to continue that tradition of helping those within our Northeastern Bobcat Wrestling Family. Many of you know Casey, Jared, Mason, and Levi Estep from the amount of time they have been a part of the program, and many of you are aware of Casey's medical struggles. Cancer has caused hurt to so many, but it has an extra sting when it involves people so young. They have dedicated so much time, attention, and money to not just their kids, but all of the kids within this program, that I thought maybe we could find a way to return the favor.

With the Bald and Fat Classic, a wrestling tournament designed for the old guys (and gals) to go out there and prove it "just one more time", I figured maybe we could use this as a chance to raise some money for them. Jared has been leading the charge on rounding up so many of the coaches and parents within our program to get out there and wrestle, and his passion never seems to burn brighter than when he's organizing something for our team. My hope is that on the morning of the tournament, April 1st, we can present Jared with the money we will have raised to help them. I'd like to try to keep this a surprise, so make sure not to blast it too far and wide. My goal is to match the first $500 donated to the cause, but I'd like to take that number and blow it out of the water. Every little bit helps!
