Friends, Bar Family, and community:
For almost 9 years we have opened the doors of our living room for people to gather, eat, listen to music, feed their bellies, wet their whistles, and to have a home for anyone to come in and know they are welcomed.
We are a small house with a large heart that truly cares about our community and takes pride in being a place for all of those lost, found and whatever lies in between.
As you all know, with the statewide shutdown of all restaurants and bars we find ourselves with our doors closed and locked until the forseeable future. In response to the massive financial toll that is taking on our house and the staff we humbly turn to our community.
The Escondite staff are more then just people who fill your pints or chose to work in Skidrokyo. We are a small Mom&Pop and they are genuinely a part of our family. During this time we are trying to raise money to help support our employees and their families as well as ensure we can keep the lights on and re-open our doors immediately when its safe to do so.
We realize that money is tight for everyone right now, but if you are able to share this post or donate even the smallest amount it really does make a difference.
For any of those able to donate larger sums we will gladly give out some tasty treats:
$100 - A free limited edition Escondite snap back hat
$250 - A free limited edition Escondite hoody
$500 - An Escondite hosted party for you and 4 friends once our doors have reopened
$1000 - A Free BBQ cook out from Chef Boyardouche for you and your friends
( Once our doors are open we will move quickly as possible to get these goodies delivered to you)
It truly is with great humility to ask for your help in helping our Bar family through these odd times. There are no words for the amount of appreciation felt by everyone at The Deets, for any contribution. Please know we are counting down the days to take the locks off our doors and re-open our living room once again.
Until we can all meet, please take care of you and yours!
Much Respect,
The Escondite Fam
