We are deeply hurting right now…

I’ve never been the type of person to ask for help, but when it comes down to pride vs my family having a roof over their heads. Then this is just a pill I will have to swallow.

As most of you know, we are in a very tough situation. And for those who don’t…

As of January 1st, Joshua was in an accident. He shattered his knee and had to under go surgery. The doctors expect his recovery to take 6 months - 1 year before he can go back to light duty.

Now we are struggling. I’ve filed for everything possible. We were approved for disability (Thank goodness).

But unfortunately the ISS only gives enough to cover our rent. And all the other resources I could find were not able to give us any more government assistance.

I feel hopeless and defeated. I can’t even hold down my own source of income with my back injury, being Josh’s bedside nurse, and of course the kids only physically capable parent at the moment.

This has been a huge game changer for us. We are just so blessed to have each other and our beautiful kids. We’ve budgeted everything back down to the essentials, we will be having frequent garage sales and selling off the assets to get by, it truly hurts us to even have to ask for any kind of support. We’re hoping to raise at least enough money to keep our bills payed and food on the table. Thank you all very much for even taking the time to read this. Please remember anything helps!
