On Thursday 4th December; just a couple of weeks short of Christmas, the Epema family (Kyle, Gemma, Bohdi, Elke & Kees) sadly lost their home and all of their belongings in a house fire. Luckily they were able to save their late daughter Lilys ashes and the kids Christmas presents. However, everything else was lost.

Over the years, Kyle and Gemma have participated in many fundraisers, charities and community events. If you know them, you know this family is the heart of our community. They’re the first to put their hands up, the first to give, the first to help anyone else, yet they are the last people who would ever ask for anything in return. They have selflessly offered their services to the community when in need, and now it’s time for us to repay the kindness and generosity they have put forward time and time again. I know personally that Gem & Kyle would give you the shirt off of their own backs, and their last dollar to someone in need.

This GoFundMe has been created with the Epemas permission, simply to ease the immediate financial stress, replacing essentials and helping them begin the long road of rebuilding their lives. Funds will go directly to Kyle & Gemma.
