The eNq competes at ITF!

We are The eNq (Evanston Northwestern Quartet), a trombone quartet hailing from the famous Northwestern University trombone studio! Through our efforts this year we have been selected as one of 3 finalists in the International Trombone Festival trombone quartet competition! This is the most significant and renowned international trombone quartet competition on the planet! We are overjoyed to make it this far in such an internationally competitive contest, and beyond excited to compete for the opportunity to WIN IT ALL at the final round to be held at the 2018 International Trombone Festival on July 11-14th at the University of Iowa campus.

Unfortunately, travel to this competition is very costly, and we are totally responsible for securing the entire cost of food, housing, and airfare/travel to and from the event on our own. Our goal is to acquire the necessary funding by the start of July or earlier. 

This opportunity to compete as a team together on the international stage is a rare and extraordinary one! While we are thrilled to get this far, we are already preparing and rehearsing to give our very best showing and hopefully earn a 1st place prize! Your support in our endeavors means supporting four intensely talented, hardworking, musicians in our shared goal of eventually forming a career and a living making music with our brass instruments. Supporting us in this campaign is aiding us in the realization of our dreams and professional/life goals, and our appreciation of any contribution you may offer, no matter how big or small, can never be overstated.
