Sarah Lee Memorial And End Of Life Cost

This is the official fundraising for Sarah Lee’s cost of death put together by her son, Daemon.

My mom died about a week ago and being her next of kin I have to figure out how to handle all of her after death possessions. This requires me to drive up and down the west coast multiple times. As I am currently traveling I’ve figured out I may need some monetary help for this terrible adventure.

Sarah has requested no funeral, and a cremation. I will be trying to do a memorial or gathering at some point hopefully in the summer. However I don’t know when or where I will host it. Being in the military gives me limited time to figure out everything especially with future leave dates. I’m sorry.

I have an itemized list of current costs and future costs of her death below, for anyone who needs it to prove my costs. Keep in mind these costs are for 2 people: My wife Daina and I.

BASE TRAVEL EXPENSES:

Hotels - $1500 (about 5 nights per trip)

Gas/Food - $1200 (on a budget)

Per Trip Base travel Total (with taxes): $3000

MORTUARY AND MEMORIAL:

Cremation - $2000

Memorial - $800-$1200

Memorial Travel (Base Cost) - $1200-$1500

The Memorial won’t be an official funeral, but a more casual environment for anyone who wanted to come.
