Hi, my name is Stephen Cardelli, I am a Creative with nearly 20 years of experience as a producer/director in Australian film and television.
I am very excited to bring to life the horror/thriller short film "The Empty Box."
"The Empty Box" is the story of a young woman and her baby trying to make ends meet after a messy divorce. Luck begins to shine on her side when she comes across a large mysterious box that gives her everything she needs, but things take a dark turn when the box demands to be repaid.
This film highlights the dangers of “greed” and what on a physical and spiritual level we're really losing when we take too much.

We are currently in pre-production and aim to shoot the film over 2 to 3 days June 2023. Once post-production is complete, we hope to enter it into as many film festivals as possible and eventually release it online. We will keep you posted on a premiere screening.
