My beautiful best friend of 29 years Jess, her amazing husband Nigel and two beautiful kids Noah (1) and Isla (6) lost their house today suddenly in the flood waters that tore through Eugowra.

The water rose so quickly that they had to escape out of their Ute and take shelter in a tree for most of the day.

I’m very aware they’re not the only family to lose everything to these horrific weather events of late but not being able to do anything for them at all, breaks my heart.

Having only purchased their dream family home within the last year, they have spent so much time and love building it to be their forever home for their babies.

Being so close to Christmas, I wanted to do something for them, to give them a bit of hope and to let them know they are not alone.
