The Egler Family
Donation protected
I am setting up this go fund me on behalf of the Egler family, who has not only suffered tremendous losses of now both parents but they now face financial crisis. Everyone who knows the Eglers know they have always been on the giving end, always the first ones to step up and donate to those in need, and have always been the most welcoming family despite any ones differences. Unfortunately life can take a turn for the worst at any point in time and that is the situation they have found themselves in. After the loss of their father, Harry, in April 2019, that was the start of a financial depression but they managed what they were able to without asking for help. A very painful and rare skin disease had taken hold of their mother’s health 8 years ago that left their daughter, Natalie, no choice but to leave her job so that she could care for her mother full time. Again, leaving them with a deduction in their household income. They started to face the risk of losing their family home last year, a family home that has been called “home” before to so many. Donna and Harry Egler are well known for being wonderful foster parents who opened their home and hearts to dozens of children in desperate need of a loving place to call home, which led their hearts to meet 12 of their 17 children. On October 11th, Donna Egler’s heart of gold stopped beating and she tragically lost her life very suddenly due to cancer and pneumonia. We are now faced with the devastating loss of two of the greatest souls I have ever had the pleasure of loving and being loved by. We are not having a funeral service (as requested by Donna) but in lieu of funeral donations I am asking for donations for Nat and the girls who are left with the unfortunate burden of how to save their family home. We appreciate any donations, even if it’s $1, anything at this point helps and again is greatly appreciated. Please let us come together for this family that has always been there everyone and try to alleviate some of the stress off of their already heavy shoulders. Thank you. ❤️
