2020 hit the Dyers extremely hard with a triple whammy:
•Initially it was Alasdair’s debilitating, chronic Ulcerative Colitis.
•Second came the devastating financial hit of the Pandemic on their small business.
•Then just before his scheduled total colectomy, the third hit was being hospitalized with double-lung COVID pneumonia with extensive damage and the worry and medical bills that go along with that!
First and foremost you should know that Katie and Alasdair Dyer are awesome parents. They prayed for years for their little angel to be born, but now they all pray every single day for Daddy to get strong enough so he can go back to the hospital again and for financial help with the overwhelming expenses. They are not sure when Alasdair’s lungs will be strong enough to undergo his total colectomy.
The second thing to know is that Alasdair and Katie are extremely talented golf instructors, but aside from that, they are thought of by so many as the go-to couple, the welcome ambassadors to the Barefoot Resort & Golf’s tight-knit community of residents and North Myrtle Beach snowbirds. Whatever you need … a fix to your game at their many clinics or privately, a golf group to join, a restaurant or doctor recommendation, … just head to Barefoot’s driving range and Alasdair and Katie are always there to help. Katie still regularly teaches but now Alasdair is home on Oxygen while he is struggling with Covid fatigue and remains on oxygen.
Financially, this has completely devastated the family. Katie, Alasdair, and their little angel really need your help to sustain the family and the Dyer Golf Academy operations until Alasdair is healthy enough to resume teaching.
Any contribution to help this wonderful family would be so appreciated.
