About the Film
The Duel is a dark comedy short by Taylor Rettke.
We follow Will through a chaotic, illicit duel with Jack, and watch their vulnerability reluctantly surface as they cope with the fallout. The film investigates the intricate, layered nature of family relationships and the consequences of pride and toxic masculinity.

Short films are notoriously unprofitable. We ask that you see your contribution as a donation rather than an investment. This contribution will be aiding the development of independent cinema, and providing an opportunity for artists in a number of disciplines
(including cinematography, sound design, production design, hair and makeup, and editing) to gain credits and experience working on a high-quality production.
