My name is Christian Arruda, and I am a student filmmaker at the University of Cincinnati. I am thrilled to begin production on my next short film, The Duel of Fates, but first, I’ll need the support. The Story

Five years ago, in the year 1754, Akimoto Nagashiki was the rightful heir to Feudal Lord Nagashiki, his father. After Lord Nagashiki's death, his adopted son, Ichiji Michinao, challenged Akimoto to a duel. Winner takes rule of the domain.

Akimoto was cut down. Ichiji let him escape with his life, but sent him into exile. From there, Akimoto began to train, dedicating every moment to his revenge. Eventually, word got out of his plans.

In 1759, loyal samurai to Lord Michinao, and childhood friend of Akimoto, Shinji Yamakawa, was tasked with hunting down Akimoto before he could enact his revenge. If he fails, he will suffer a fate much worse than death.
