The Dreambox Concerts

Donation protected
I am Suzanne Cloud , a longtime jazz singer songwriter and  Philly jazz advocate, and I'm partnering with drummer Sherrie Maricle , the leader of the DIVA Jazz Orchestra , and we  are looking to fund The Dreambox Concerts at "Drummers," an intimate venue, that will feature monthly performances by Philadelphia area musicians who have a deep connection to social justice. Each concert (from October 2019 through May 2020) will spotlight a specific social issue in current American life that is of concern to these artists, and every concert will partner with a local, affinity organization that is trying to mitigate the social injustice spotlighted in the performance. The funds collected will be used to pay the performance fees for the musicians and a videographer to publicize the performances and the social justice need . I will need the funds soon because the series starts this October 9th. Your support will mean everything to the musicians, singers, composers, and lyricists performing for a cause that is near and dear to their hearts in this climate of racial hatred, white nationalism, poverty, the mistreatment of refugees seeking asylum, gun violence, and anti-democratic actions to suppress the vote. The affinity organization will also benefit  by increasing awareness of their work and the donations to support it. Everyone involved in this project will be so grateful for your generosity and for every $10 you donate, you will receive one ticket at will call for one performance. Giving $50 will get you 5 tickets; $100 will get you 10 tickets - and so on.
