My story

I’m raising funds to print a children’s book I’ve written about an unlikely friendship between a dragon and an octopus.

For some time, this story remained as scribbles in my notebook. As the pandemic hit, I found myself with time and space, and was inspired to get the story completed. Exactly two years after the initial idea came to me, I started re-writing it and trying my hand at illustrations.

It is a beautiful story about friendship, difference and togetherness, and the themes of the story truly came into being when I returned to it.

This book was not created by me, but by my community of friends. Friends who gave me inspiration, honesty and encouragement. A lot of time, care and love has been put into the creation of this book.

The project has been on hold due to the current climate and high costs of printing. My hope is to raise funds in order to get it printed in 2023.
