Brian Slator died suddenly and quickly from congestive heart failure on Friday, May 1st 2020. He was 67 and lived in Fargo, ND. He is survived by his wife Rita Slator. He was a longtime computer science professor at NDSU.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, a service for Brian will be postponed until a safer date. In lieu of flowers, his family would like to set up a scholarship fund in his memory. The scholarship will be for women NDSU students in computer science.
