Raising money for beloved Edmonton Venues: The Common, 9910, and The Bower.
The Downtown Defrost is a family-friendly winter celebration of dance music, created by Night Vision Music and Wheelhouse Productions. Launched in 2015, this annual event typically sees Winston Churchill Square transformed into a wild dance party featuring lights, decorations, and some of the city's favourite DJs alongside international talent. The past few years we've teamed up with Silverskate to bring the festival to Hawrelak Park but given the state of the pandemic we're pivoting the event to a livestream fundraiser.
The livestream will feature sets from some of our favourite DJ's and Bands performing at multiple locations across the city + Interviews from artists on the lineup, owners of the clubs, and event organizers from the festival!
All donations will be put towards helping the artists and venues we worked with on this event through COVID-19.
