The Dowler Family

As many of you may be aware the Dowler family is in need of our prayers and support.  Melissa and Ashley were vacationing in Missoula Montana when the vehicle they were driving was hit head on by a drunk driver.  Melissa sustained a spinal cord injury as a result of the accident and was medically flown to Seattle, WA for treatment.  She remains in critical condition.  Ashley suffered two broken feet, multiple fractures in both legs, and a broken knee cap.  She has had surgery to repair both legs and feet.  The plan is to get Ashley back to Oxford to rehabilitate near family and friends.  Melissa’s husband Carl and son Allan will remain in Seattle with Melissa for the foreseeable future.  With Carl’s permission a GoFundMe has been established to help with their expenses for travel, food and lodging.  We will keep you updated on this page as much as possible while respecting their privacy during this difficult time.  Your prayers, love and support is greatly appreciated by the family.  A few family pictures have been added along with a picture of their vehicle from the accident.  As Ashley shared these pictures she remarked of the ones on their trip and how happy her mom was.  God is still in the miracle business and we are praying for one for Melissa and her healing along with Ashley’s.
