The Doug Days of Summer

Hi, all – you may not know me, but we share a love for Doug White… or perhaps you just haven’t met him yet.  Doug’s a gifted musician and naturally the funniest man on the planet, quick-witted and always ready with a great joke (delivered with perfect timing and never at anyone’s expense).  You can’t help but be around Doug and feel a wee bit better about yourself and the world afterwards… and that’s saying a lot in these crazy times.

As "Friends of Doug" probably know, these days have been made even more challenging for Doug and his wonderful wife, Kim.  Not only did the pandemic grind their businesses to a halt in March, but of bigger concern is Doug’s diagnosis in early July with Stage 4 colon cancer – with a spot on each lung and a lesion on his liver.  He just finished his 3rd session of chemotherapy and seems to be responding well.  Unfortunately, as living and medical expenses continue to mount, Doug and Kim have burnt through their savings… adding to their already elevated stress level.

Doug is generally the one on the front line to come to the aid of a friend… or a “pre-friend.”  Whether to support a ride for cancer or a fundraiser for one of his other friends who was battling cancer, Doug’s tender heart drives everything he does.  And while he’s a man of great faith who would simply covet your prayers for healing and to be able to get back to his photography and AV business, let’s help BE that answer to prayer, in ways big and small.

Given the devastation in the job market, please receive our sincere wishes for your own swift rebound if this is your case, and “keep on keepin’ on” within your own household.  For those able to financially help Doug for the years he’s added to our lives through the joy of laughter, friendship and beautiful music, let’s rally in a big and mighty way.  No amount is too small, and none is too large ;)

Thanks, Friends, for joining us in this crusade.  We love Doug!!!!!
