The Dot and Line Writers Fund

Donation protected
For four years and change, The Dot and Line has published some of the best animation journalism on the internet. That's all thanks to our terrific contributors, all of whom are volunteers. Now that we're wrapping up our run, we want to give our readers an opportunity to support and thank the contributors to this passion project as we all navigate the coronavirus pandemic together.

We'd be grateful for any donations you can make on behalf of our writers before The Dot and Line publishes its final stories on May 1. We know times are tough. But with the funding from this campaign, we will offer honorariums to all our contributors. If we reach our goal, we'll be able to give at least roughly $50 to every single person who wants it who has contributed a story to The Dot and Line. Regardless of what we raise, every penny of this fundraising drive will benefit writers who need it, and who have worked so hard to show you just how wonderful animation is and can be.

Thank you for reading The Dot and Line, and for supporting our editorial efforts over the years. Our final stories will run from April 27 to May 1 as part of a farewell package called THAT'S ALL, FOLKS! We hope you’ll read it—because we plan to end with a bang.

Love,
