As you have probably heard, our little Doris has been visiting the vets quite frequently these past few weeks. We tried our best to keep things under wraps to not worry anybody, because we know how attached the community is to our little one. But from what we are being told by the vets, while there are suspicions and it is uncertain what is exactly going on yet, we know it’s very harsh on her, she’s at a point where she’s going in regularly for testing, she’s struggling somewhere in her digestive system and is losing weight at an alarming rate. Despite having taken insurance for her to cover 5k £ /year of her vet expenses not even a month ago (which cost us just under a grand already), the scans, the sampling and tests have eaten that security and peace of mind away. On top of the multiple tests and visits, the last set of tests cost around 3k £, and she’s in need of a second set of tests on the 7th of May. And if they also come back as inconclusive, we’ll have to resort to surgery. And having just moved, we are in no position to be able to afford that on our own currently. If you can help in anyway, or share this to someone you think can, we would be incredibly grateful.
All we want is to do everything we can for our baby.
Thank you for your time,
