Hi Everyone!
As most of you know Donna Baggott was diagnosed with COVID-19 on August 2nd. On August 13th Donna was transported to Fawcett Memorial Hospital due to a COVID induced stroke. The stroke had caused brain damage resulting in immobility of the left side of her body. As the results of COVID and the stroke, Donna was placed on a ventilator for over a month and then later received a tracheotomy. After the tracheotomy was placed Donna was improving immensely up until she started lacking oxygen for 14 minutes and eventually caused her to stop breathing due to her tracheotomy being clogged. When she had stopped breathing this caused irreversible brain damage and is causing her to currently, rapidly decline.
On October 3rd, Donna was placed into Hospice where she is now comfortable and surrounded by those who love her. Unfortunately, Donna is not expected to make a recovery and will be leaving behind her beloved husband, James Baggott, Her three sons Nicholas, Jacob, and Eric Baggott, her daughter, Brittany Baggott, and her granddaughter, Lacie Baggott, as well as, her extended family and so many friends that she has touched over the years.
We are raising money to help cover end of life costs, medical expenses, and daily life expenses for her family during these devastating times. Any donations left over after cremation and her celebration of life will be gifted to her husband.
Donna and her family thank you tremendously for the continued thoughts and prayers.
We ask that you continue to give the family there space, So they can continue to spend as much time with Donna in these last moments.
