Every day at Maxi’s Mates Rescue & Rehoming Centre, there are paws waiting for a second chance.

Sometimes there are over 50 dogs in their care at once—each one needing food in their bowl, warmth in their bed, and love while they wait for their forever home.

That’s why, on the 27th June 2026, Robert, Joe, Hope, Beth, Ryan, Lucy, Andy, Chris & Glen are taking on the 12K Total Warrior challenge.

We’ll be climbing, crawling, running, and getting very muddy—all for dogs who have already been through enough and deserve safety, comfort, and care.

The funds raised will help keep Maxi’s Mates running day to day—providing food, veterinary care, warm bedding, shelter, and essential support for dogs who would otherwise have nowhere to go. Every single donation, no matter the size, directly helps keep these dogs safe, warm, healthy, and loved.
