We are the Diamond Divas, a 10u softball team based in Moulton, Alabama. Recently, our team faced an unfortunate and disheartening situation. Funds generously raised and donated by parents—intended for essential team expenses like equipment and uniforms—were misappropriated by our previous head coach. This unexpected breach of trust has left us with a significant financial shortfall, including an outstanding balance of over $600 for team uniforms that were not needed.

While we have recovered a portion of the misused funds, much of the money spent prematurely—such as on unusable uniforms—cannot be recouped. We want to emphasize that the vendor involved was not at fault, and we are committed to honoring our responsibility and paying the outstanding balance which has therefore set us back a bit on our funds.

Despite these setbacks, our team is staying strong. These young girls have continued to train with dedication and heart.
