SERIES SYNOPSIS

Welcome to The Ditch, a small town in rural Queensland where four delightfully hopeless friends fumble through life with no money, no jobs, and absolutely no clue. Forever stuck in adolescence, they cook up half-baked schemes to escape their dead-end lives—with a 100% failure rate. It’s a laughable ride through bad decisions, worse ideas, and the joys of small-town living, where growing up just isn’t part of the plan.

OUR STORY

We are Chimera Storm Productions, a female-driven team of three passionate actors—Kathleen, Rosie, and Rose. The Ditch is a true labour of love, born from Rosie’s upbringing in a small Queensland town and her obsession with cringe comedy. Inspired to create something fresh and authentically Australian, she set out to bring a new series to life, packed with unforgettable characters and a way to showcase regional Queensland.

This cringe comedy takes bad decisions to a whole new level, starring four lovable disasters trying (and failing) to grow up in small-town Queensland. PLANS FOR PROJECT

We've successfully shot our first episode on a zero budget, and it’s ready for release in 2025! Episodes two and three are set to be filmed in early 2025. With your support, we can boost the production value and pay our talented cast and crew for their hard work on these next episodes. After that, we plan to dive straight into shooting the final four episodes.
