The Ditch Caddy Emergency Relief Fund

With unprecedented times upon us and the inability of those in our lives to perform their everyday jobs due to the Coronavirus, we have created this Go Fund Me account to assist the BCCC caddies during the financial crisis.
Many of the caddies are considered to be Family and all are feeling stressed by the economic realities of the stay at home orders, the impact on our caddies is far more dramatic. They are completely barred from working with no idea of when they will be able to loop again. Like us, they have families and bills to take care of and this fund will help them during this difficult period.
The caddies are an intergral part of the game of golf at The Ditch. They enhance our social enjoyment and increase our competive success in member, USGA and SCGA amateur golf tournaments. The caddy program makes the golf experience at The Ditch more enjoyable and memorable for our guests. It is imperative that we all extend a hand of friendship to our beloved caddies. Please consider making a donation to ensure our tradition of having top player caddies at The Ditch. Let's help our caddies get through the crisis.
This is a member driven effort and is independent of The Big Canyon Country Club and has no formal affiliation with the club. Your participation is strictly voluntary, and greatly appreciated. Recommended countributions of between $100 - $1,000 are encouraged but there is no limit, and of course lower amounts are wonderful too. All amounts will help meet our intial goal and will be greatly appreciated by our 20+ caddies.
100% of the Funds raised , net of the 2.9% Go Fund Me fee and their nominal per transaction fee, will be distributed to the caddies in a reasonable and thoughtful manner with the oversight of members of the Relief Team. If you prefer to pay by check or make other arrangments, please email
