The Dilley Family

Donation protected
This is to help out the Dilley Family. Below is what Clarissa has told everyone on Facebook. Jason is currently still in the hospital. Clarissa is driving back and forth to the hospital at least twice a day. I am sure that gas is starting to add up and eating out on the way to or from the hospital. Clarissa is my best friend and I would do anything for her, as she would do anything for me. Please if you can help with even $5 that would be amazin.

Jan 26th "Some of you may already know that Jay has significantly decreased kidney function. He went for a routine check up yesterday and everything seemed to go well. We received a phone call from him doctor at 10:30 pm saying he needed to go straight to the ER based on some of the blood work. He was admitted almost immediately after getting there and they have been running tests on him all night. All we know at this time is his white blood cell count is concerning low and his potassium levels are entirely too high. Both of which are having to do with his kidneys. We could use all the prayers and/or positive vibes you can send."

"Update on Jay. He received 2 units of blood for h is transfusion last night. His hemoglobin only went from 7.2 to 8.1 and it needs to be around 15. There has been no change with hi kidney function. The doctor said he will need dialysis and/or a kidney transplant within the year. This is obviously not the news we were wanting to hear or expecting. Your continues prayers and support are appreciated more than you know."

February 25th " I wanted to bring everyone up to date on what had been going on with Jason. His kidneys are only functioning at 5% at this point. In order to prepare him for the dialysis process, he is having surgery on Thursday morning to put what is called an AV Fistula in his right arm. Basically, they are attaching one of his veins to a main artery, causing the vein to grow so that it will be big enough in a about 6-8 weeks to start dialysis. At his pre-op appointment this morning, we found out that his hemoglobin is continuing to drop with his numbers being at 6.9 so he is going to need another blood transfusion before his surgery Thursday. Please keep us lifted in prayer and positive thoughts. It's been a rough road and we've only just begun."

February 28th "Change of  plans: after checking his hemoglobin levels before surgery and seeing that they have dropped even more since Monday, they are not doing the surgery today. They are now admitting a blood transfusion and to do an emergency dialysis session. We don't know how long he will be here for. Your continued prayers are appreciated."
