Hello!

My name is Tia White and I was moved while watching a video about the struggle that women experiencing homelessness face during their menstrual cycle. (Click here for more information: https://youtu.be/ABch4VYOJZ0)

This video moved me to want to take action of my own. I have years of experience coordinating fundraising efforts that have benefitted the Capital Area Food Bank, So Others Might Eat,  Parent Teacher Association. When I am not coordinating my own efforts, I happily serve along side friends and family at various community events. Service is kind of my thing. :-)

Today, I am asking you for your help in coordinating my largest undertaking so far. For my 36th birthday, I am setting out to create 360 Dignity Kits to benefit men and women in the DC Region.

In preparation for the cold months, I wish to distribute kits that contain: a hat, gloves, socks, travel size toothbrush and toothpaste, razors in the kits for men and sanitary napkins for the kits for women and a non perishable snack.

Even if you are not able to donate items or money, please pledge to give your time on Saturday, December 10th  when we will meet to create and distribute these kits.
