The DiGiovanni Family Needs Help
Donation protected
Four months after the photo above was taken, my dear friend, Nannette DiGiovanni was diagnosed with shingles in January 2017. Since then, her health has dramatically declined, and as the DiGiovanni Family has worked tirelessly to get her the help she needs, the financial and emotional burden placed on the family has ultimately taken its toll and they are in need of help.
Her shingles was located on the left side of her head, causing what we have now learned extreme damage throughout her body due to the close proximity to the brain. Since January 2017, Nannette has experienced debilitating full body pain, cognitive decline, memory loss, and an inability to walk and care for herself. In June 2019, Nannette had to leave her job due to her worsening condition. That same year, her eldest daughter, Gabriella, moved home to become her primary caretaker.
In the past four months, Nannette has entered the worst condition yet and her family is simply overwhelmed as medical bills continue to pile up, and her daughters and husband, Joe, are providing her around the clock care. Nannette’s weeks are full of doctor’s appointments, treatments, and therapies to try to begin a healing journey. Her case is both complex and severe. The family recently learned that environmental factors in their home have also played a role in Nannette’s worsening condition. They’ve begun work on their house which is a tremendous expense, and have to soon make a decision to sell their life-long home.
They are the most incredible family with the biggest hearts you could ever imagine. Any donations that can be made to ease the burden on the DiGiovanni Family for Nannette’s on-going care, medical expenses, and other needs would be greatly appreciated. No amount is too small or too large. Please feel free to share this message with anybody you feel would be interested in donating, and please keep Joe, Nannette, Gabriella & Nicole in your prayers.
