Hello everyone, my name is Karen Lewis. I am starting a go fund me because realizing that bills are going to come even when you’re down I was once in this predicament before almost 10 years ago when I was in the hospital, not knowing what I was gonna do and my insurance was not reliable at the time Now that I have a dependable job, my insurance is not covering everything so the bills are gonna always come with me covering 20% of my insurance fee every time that I get a chemo treatment it’s gonna cost me close to 700 bucks each session right now I have to get the port put in and that’s gonna cost me $1334.06. AS OF Right now I am currently in another hospital and I am so thankful for this HOSPITAL for helping me get part of this tumor off my lungs. It is in Georgetown. It is called ST. Davis and the doctor that helped me was wonderful. He froze half of the tumor off of my lungs so that way my lungs can breathe. Part of my lungs collapse while finding out that I am dealing with stage four ovarian cancer that’s right ovarian cancer MIND you 2016 almost 10 years ago I had a hysterectomy so there was still some growth growing from that area, which allowed it to spread to my lungs, it took 10 years at most for it to grow to this point so now I am here trying to save my life because now I am a grandmother, I have a company that supports me, and I cannot afford to leave my mother alone by herself. It says in the great book that we are supposed to bury our parents first I do not want my daughter to bury me first I’m not ready and I don’t want my mother to bury me first I’ve been told all my life that I am a strong woman and that people always depend on me and that I am a good person. At least that’s the way I always want to be right now. I am in need of all the help I can get. I’m looking forward to a change And while I am down and sitting still something that I don’t know how to do. I plan on setting up my backyard to make it a vegetable and fruit oasis for me to get better in that process. If I grow anything people can knock on my gate and get what they need That’s the goal that I am trying to shoot for. I also would like to offer Bible studies because I believe that we all need to learn the word in a new way I believe that we all lost our faith. We allowed phones TVs and people’s evilness to contradict how we truly are supposed to be in this world. God placed us here for him, not for evil and we have to start doing better so if I can get assistance from people to see truly that it is needed to help with medical bills or to help with my garden, I am greatly appreciated. I’m looking forward to telling my testimony to those that want to hear because I am now wanting to live for God.
