We Urgently need your help!

Think about your worst day or even week... Our friends Melanie and Chad are in that right now!

 

Chad O’Malley has been fighting for his life for over a week. Chad was rushed via ambulance to the hospital due to his blood pressure and pulse not staying stable. What proceeded to happen the next few days I wouldn’t want to wish upon ANYONE. Chad was ultimately put into a medical coma after surviving two cardiac arrests and being life flighted to another hospital!

 

You want to talk about a warrior... Chad is the definition!! You see just last year Chad lost part of his leg due to his type one diabetes. On top of that Chad has been patiently waiting for a match for a new kidney and has to do home dialysis daily to survive. His wife Melanie was a match to give Chad her kidney but then found out due to an extra vein in hers she was no longer eligible. You want to talk about a series of unfortunate events to happen in one lifetime, Melanie and Chad know this far to well.

 

Not once have they asked for pity or help! Their attitudes and determination has never wavered!

 

Chad wasn’t given high odds for waking up. The best news ever came from Melanie recently...Chad woke up and told his wife he loved her!!!

 

He is a Miracle and all of us who have been apart of this process are truly touched and blown away.

 

The love Chad and Melanie have is unlike any other. True support, love and encouragement! Melanie is the primary provider and is one of the most amazing, hard working, loyal, caring and selfless humans I know.

 

When we didn’t know when and if Chad was going to wake up Melanie was faced with what her options were. She needs her insurance and must keep her income so taking a leave of absence or using the family leave act wasn’t going to benefit her.

 

We are beyond grateful for the love and support seen so far and our hearts are heavy for the burden of what has happened and the road ahead of these two. It could be weeks or months before Chad is able to get home. He may need a lot of speciality care and treatments. The road ahead is still very unclear but Chad is HERE, ALIVE and DETERMINED.

 

The holiday season is upon us. Please, let’s show these two incredible people what good karma, love and support they so, so deserve. Any donation at all is a GIFT.

 

We need Chad and Melanie to keep fighting and focusing on one another NOT adding to the heartache of how they are going to get out of this hole.

 

Chad and Melanie have already faced so many events in life many of us won’t or haven’t. The strength, love and bravery these two have are beyond admirable.
