Both Kathy and Benoit Desclefs (husband and wife) are battling different types of rare cancers. Neither one have a cure, but there are treatments to help manage their illness.  

They have a small restaurant that is now without their chef for an undetermined amount of time (Benoit) and Kathy is having to return to work at the restaurant to help keep it running smoothly. However, her own illness takes its toll on her as well.

As you can imagine, their medical expenses are mounting and now they are taking on the extra expense of additional staff at the restaurant.  

If you know Kathy and Benoit, you know they are holy, warm, compassionate people who embrace their faith and truly  model Christian values.
