HELP The Delta Humane Society of Louisiana
This past weekend, the Delta Humane Society of Louisiana (DHS) was on their way to MD, NY and NJ to transport dogs to local rescues (including AARF, the rescue I am associated with). They do this transport trip monthly, and cover all the costs. Unfortunately, they had an accident in the middle of the night on Friday 12/18 and their van was totaled. All humans and dogs are okay, thankfully, but now we’re figuring out a way to get all the dogs to their respective rescues and get Casey (DHS) and the other driver home. An AARF volunteer acted quickly and rented a van and headed to Casey to load up dogs and bring them back to MD. We aren’t sure what the total expenses will be, but anything raised above the total will go to DHS for a new can and/ or animal medical expenses. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
