The Delivery- CSULB short film

Hi, my name is Michael Hy, and I’m the director of the short film The Delivery.
This project is a heartfelt tribute to the often-overlooked individuals in the mailing industry—those whose quiet dedication keeps us connected through every letter, package, and message. We rarely stop to think about the human effort behind each delivery, but every envelope has a story, and every parcel is a thread in someone’s life.
At its core, The Delivery is about identity, longing, and the courage to search for one's roots. The film follows a man on a deeply personal journey to find the family he never knew—an emotional path shaped by loss, hope, and the universal need to belong.
With this story, we aim to honor the everyday heroes of our postal system while exploring what it means to seek connection in a disconnected world.
I’m incredibly proud to collaborate with a passionate, talented team to bring this vision to the screen. Your support will help us make this story a reality.
Thank you so much for believing in our project.
