The Death of Father and Husband Fred Bleibtreu

On the evening of Friday, April 19th Fred Bleibtreu had a severe asthma attack in his home. His family tried to get him to the hospital but he was unable to make it to the car. The ambulance was called and came 25 minutes after the call was made. In the meantime, his wife Maria Bleibtreu, and  2 of their 5 children (Tori 18 y/o & Grant 15 y/o) gave their best effort to keep their loved one alive by performing CPR. The ambulance arrived and continued CPR and life-saving strategies in hopes to revive Fred. Unfortunately, Fred was unable to make it and passed away at 1 am that Saturday morning on his property.  This death was extremely unexpected for his family. Fred left behind 2 stepsons that are adults, and 5 children with ages ranging from 20 years old to 8 years old. Fred was an adored man, he was a paramedic for 22 years in both Arizona and Texas. He later became a safety officer on oil rigs and fields. He did that for 15 years before he was laid off. He became a Truck driver to provide for his family and held that job for 2 years.  Truck driving wasn't his calling like keeping other people safe was but he did whatever was necessary to provide for his family. Fred was immensely passionate about anything and everything he did. He worked hard his entire life to make the lives around him better. When Fred died he was in the transition of jobs. He recently got an offer to work with gas and oil again in Midland, Texas.  It is saddening that he won't be able to fulfill this offer.  Within this transition, Fred and his family lost life insurance and any coverage they were expecting to overcome this tragedy. His family asks for any donation, even of the smallest amounts to help pay for the funeral and other necessary expenses that his family is faced with.
