Bye Bye Benny the Brain Tumor
Donation protected
Hey friends. My mom could really use all our help! Right before the holidays she was diagnosed with a brain tumor. While they are pretty confident it is benign, she still has to undergo BRAIN SURGERY!!! I want to reach out and ask for donations to help her with her household bills as well as any medical bills. She works as a 911 dispatcher on the overnight shift and has made the decision to stop working sooner than expected due to some of her symptoms and side effects making it a safety issue for her, the community, and her co-workers. Her PTO accrual has restarted recently and will exhaust quickly and short term disability payments will be 30 days away and only a percentage.
She has worked so hard to give us the best life despite being a single mom for so many years. She just knows how to get stuff done!!! Now it’s time to step up for her. She has always thought of others and helping others in their time of need. When my cousin died she started a donation drive for his daughter, when an HS classmate had a house fire she solicited donations for them, she has let friends borrow our cars when they were struggling…AND let’s not forget all her years volunteering for the local softball league and teams and receiving sponsorships and donations!
She just truly has a servants heart, and is so deserving!
So I ask if you can find it in your heart to help, even just a little, to help ease her worry of paying medical bills and household bills during her recovery, we would be forever grateful! If you can’t help financially, we completely understand and ask that you lift her up in prayers for her and the long road to recovery ahead, as well as our family! Anything left over she will donate.
I will also do my best to keep everyone updated on her condition and recovery as we continue to get more information in the coming weeks!
