The Day Nursery Needs a Door

The Day Nursery has been providing quality early childhood education for 104 years in the same historic building. It is the only full-time early childhood program in the area that is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) that provides financial assistance to low and moderate income level families. Over 75% of the Day Nursery children enroll with one or more factors that put their future school success at-risk, yet 90% transition Kindergarten-ready demonstrated by their assessment scores. The children receive their education in a building as old as the program, and even eat family-style meals in the same cafeteria that students have been eating in for over 100 years.
Right now, the Day Nursery needs your help. The front door on our historical landmark is in dire need of repair and updating. It will cost $5,000 to repair the door effectively and update for safety. Please help us with this important need for our children! #restoreourdoor
