Our names are Sabrina and Mercedes Daugherty. Most of you who knew us, knew our mom, or knew of our mom. If you never got a chance to meet her, let us tell you a bit about her.

Our mom was perfectly imperfect.

She was the block mom when you needed a shoulder to cry on or a bandaid mom.

The life of the party mom, the you can tell anything and she’d never judge you mom.

The give your shirt off your back and take care of everyone but herself mom.

The mom that blessed a family one year with Christmas even though we had nothing and couldn’t have a Christmas for ourselves mom.

The mom that shoveled horse poo and scrounged out any penny she could find so we could have lessons and music and sports mom.

She was the one that would hold us and rock us as we bawled in her arms when we felt lost mom.

The mom that did her best when she was dealt with some of the shittiest cards anyone in the world has had to play with mom.

The mom that bought a bench set and weights and a big mirror when Covid hit so that I could continue to workout mom.

The one who said we inspired her to workout and eat healthy and love herself. And she found that at the end. And we are so proud of her. We miss her more than worlds can describe. Our relationship was far from perfect. But she was our mom, she was our dad, she was everything we needed to shape us into the women we are today. And We wouldn’t trade her for the world.

We are asking anyone to help us with Cremation costs, legal costs, helping bring Sabrina to Oregon and help pay for her celebration of life. We don’t want or need anything more, we just want to bring our mother home to us and celebrate her for the beautiful soul that she is. Thank you so much for all of your help.
