The Dark Theatres Project

The Dark Theatres Project seeks to raise funds for Theatre Professionals who have lost their livelihood during COVID-19.

The Industry has been financially devastated by the lockdown and tens of thousands of skilled workers have fallen through the cracks in government support.

For most of these people, a whole year's income disappeared overnight on 16th March 2020 when the Theatres Closed.

Donations of £40 or more will receive a beautifully designed book documenting this historical time,
Donations of £20 or more will receive a print of your choice and individual story from the people who once inhabited these buildings, working behind the scenes to create the magic of Theatre.
Donations of less than £20 will help to sustain our world leading Theatre Industry from the ground up by allowing the professionals to survive and return to work as soon as it is safe.

All profits will go to the following charities:

The Theatres Trust
The Theatrical Guild
Acting for Others

If you can't donate, please share far and wide - especially among people whose livelihoods remain intact and who would love to enjoy a night out at a Theatre one day in the future.

And check our Facebook page and website for more images and stories as they are released:
