For the surviving children of Daniel Hawkins

On December 19, the unthinkable happened. Daniel Hawkins tragically passed away, leaving behind five children: 19, 16, 12, 9, and 6 years old. Daniel was the type of dad that was quick to laugh, not afraid to be unabashedly silly, and show his kids unconditional love and support. The grief they are experiencing is so heartbreaking. In addition to everyday living expenses for the family and travel expenses for Daniel’s oldest daughter, she also holds the responsibility of funeral arrangements on her shoulders. As a family, we have provided emotional and financial support; however, we would like to bless them all with as much love and comfort as we can give them during this very difficult time. As we all have seen in the past, people coming together as a community can make amazing things happen. So now, we are humbly asking our community–near and far–for donations that will go directly to the kids and their needs. To show them love in a time of unbelievable sorrow. To show them support in a time where they know their lives will never be the same without their dad. Thank you to all who have given so far. We see you, and we appreciate you more than you know. You have brought light during a dark time and helped lift a burden.
