In just ONE MONTH, we will be performing at The Dance Gallery Festival in Huntsville, Texas! BUT we need YOUR HELP to get there!

I am honored and humbled to announce that my latest choreographic work, "the sheen", will be presented at the esteemed 13th annual Dance Gallery Festival! Of the nine selected choreographers, I’m privledged to be one of only three choreographers representing NYC. In addition, I have the opportunity to teach a master class at the festival! https://www.dancegalleryfestival.com
Why this is a HUGE DEAL!
With a successful premiere in March accompanied by a surreal performance at the iconic Battery Dance Festival in August, (NYC’s longest running public dance festival to date) “the sheen”, quoted as “an absolute delight” and “an immensely fun piece”, has captured the hearts, humor, and imaginations of audiences across Manhattan...HOWEVER - we now have our VERY FIRST OPPORTUNITY TO GO ON THE ROAD with the piece, reaching new audiences and sparking fresh excitement, smiles, and laughter!

THE KNITTY GRITTY:
The festival takes place at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas on October 4th and 5th 2019. The cast, Emily Diers, Allie Kronick, Eoghan Dillon, Carlos Sánchez Falú, and Marlaina Riegelsberger, and myself will fly from NYC on October 3rd to George Bush International Airport in Houston, (the closest airport to Huntsville, TX) and stay in a hotel on the university's campus for three days. The airport is approximately 60 miles from the University, so we will need to rent a car for transportation.

More about The Dance Gallery Festival:
The Dance Gallery Festival was created in 2007 by Astrid von Ussar and Mojca Ussar and has since become a well-known festival with annual showcases in New York City and Texas. Since its inception, the festival has featured more than 100 artists and grown from a single showcase to a festival with performances in NYC and Texas, residency programs for choreographers, and free masterclasses for both NYC and Texas communities. The Festival has been running for the past 12 years and creates unique and incredible opportunities and community for emerging dance artists.
