The Dan Popkin Memorial Fund

Hi, my name is Ari, and I'm a college friend of Dan's. We roomed together for three years, and he was like a brother to me. It was heartbreaking for me and so many others when he passed away in January of 2021, after a long struggle with depression. To mark what would have been his 47th birthday on June 5, 2022, four college friends (Ari, Charles, Kelvin, and John) launched this campaign to create a fund in Dan's memory. Dan's wife Margaret and son Samuel will use the fund we all create to give to causes and places that would be close to Dan's heart. In this way, they will continue to walk the journey with Dan, ensuring that all the love he brought to the world will grow and thrive.
